father, Having, daughter, almost, apologize

How do you apologize to a father for almost having sex with his daughter?

We were planning to have sex but he read her emails and told me that I could never see her ever again and if I ever tried to contact her there would be trouble. I love her, I really do, and I wouldn't have sex with her if it meant losing her. I don't know what to do.
